Residential Shift Coordinators
 
We are currently seeking Shift Coordinators for our Residential Program – OPENINGS IN ALBANY AND RAVENA RESIDENCES. The Shift Coordinator will assist the Residential Program Manager with the daily operations and administration of a community residence program.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
 
 A clean and valid New York State drivers’ license and reliable transportation is a MUST. One year experience with adults with developmental disabilities required, preferably in a residential setting. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required. Per New York State regulations, you must be able to pass a criminal background check.
 

Residential Counselors 
   

We are currently seeking Residential Counselors – OPENINGS IN ALBANY AND RAVENA RESIDENCES. Residential Counselors assist adults with developmental disabilities with all daily life activities in a caring, happy residential setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting with and/or providing direct personal care to residents including, but not limited to; feeding, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. Preparing residents’meals, housekeeping, administering medications, leading social activities and ensuring the safety and well-being of each resident.    

  
 Full-time and part-time schedules are available for evening and overnight shifts.

A clean and valid New York State drivers’ license is a MUST. Reliable transportation is preferred. There is no bus-line to our main facility for training and in-service programs. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required. Per New York State regulations, you must be able to pass a criminal background check.
 
Director of Nursing
 
We are currently seeking a Director of Nursing who will oversee nursing activities in both Residential and Day Habilitation programs, ensuring quality, adherence to OPWDD regulations, consistency and efficiency. Provide leadership to the nursing staff, evaluation and implementation of systems to provide the highest quality of care for the individuals we serve.
 
  • Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse by the NYS Department of Education
  • Minimum of 5 years experience within a residential or inpatient health care or clinic treatment
  • Three years experience as a supervisor of nursing activities
  • Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • NYS driver's license that meets agency guidelines and reliable transportation 
Registered Nurse - Residential Program
 
Responsible for implementation of medically related policies and procedures for residential programs. Provides direction and supervision to residential staff regarding the routine and continuous health care for all consumers. Provide staff training/in-services as required. Trains staff in special procedures, medication certification, injection certification and ongoing health care. Cooperates with Director of Nursing and other program Nurses in developing agency policies and providing appropriate health care.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in NYS
  • Must have a minimum of one year clinical experience
  • Prefer experience with developmental disabilities and/or community residence experience
  • Must possess a valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be felxible in work schedule-occasional overtime and weekend work may be required 
Registered Nurse - Day Habilitation
 
Coordinate and insure the provision of nursing/medical services for each consumer as needed or required. Provide physical assessment and first aid treatment for consumers as needed and referrals for follow-up. Dispense medications as required. Provide staff training as reqired.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in NYS
  • Must have one year clinical experience
  • One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
Day Habilitation Practitioner
 
Develop and implement treatment plans for people with developmental disabilities in a Day Habilitation setting. High school diploma or GED required. Clean NYS driver's license a must for daily participation in community activities.
